Two, a coupe, twins, together… so simple, only two. Dear friend Coby asked us to create around number 2 for the Stampotique month of De Craftorij. So here is my spread in my altered book.
I used of course Stampotique stamps: The Tweedles #9232, Alphabitties #6010 and design cube #10012, splattered mug #10017 with archival ink and with distress ink.
First I added some random texture on my spread with texture paste, then I used a star stencil to add some soft gel. I colorised my page with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist Trunk bay and with Glimmer Glam Caspian sea. I used distress ink faded jeans to distress the edges and the design cube to add some texture. Finally I splattered with High Impact metallic light gold.
I added some washi tape to have a footage for The Tweedles and then stamped them with archival ink.
I used distress inks to distress a scrap piece, I stamped on this with splattered mug for some texture and then with the Alpabitties the text twee. I added some plaster and natural burlap that I colorised with Glimmer Mists Walnut Gold and Bronze. Finally I fastened it on my spread with self altered embellishments (washer and bard).
So my two is a couple of twins. Thanks for the number 2 Coby!
Love what you did with this challenge…..so great that I want an old book to work in! Thanx for the inspiration!
Thanks Coby, but didn’t you make one with France? Or did she give a different workshop at the retreat?
We made a book with aquarel paper, thought this is a real book. Is that so?
