Under the sea

Did you ever wondered what is the world look like under the sea? I mean deep under, not only diving but even more, let’s imagine to have a summer fun and take a vacation on a submarine… what can you see there? I would like to believe in the magic of mermaids, why not?

So undersea world is pretty out of our comfort zone, or at least my comfort zone. First I stamped Daniel Torrente’s Octopet and Smushasha from Stampotique Originals with distress embossing ink on my card and I embossed them with pumice stone embossing powder.

I used France Papillon’s design cube to create bubbles for my lovely sea creatures and the bubbles I embossed with white UTEE. I colorized my card with blue distress inks.To create an “under sea” feeling I misted water on my distress inks. And then I added my text with black archival ink.

The sea has a bottom as well, doesn’t it? So I cut a piece of cambric with Sizzix’s twigs die and I colorized it with Lindy’s stamp gang spray. I stitched it on my card.

Finally I used blue marker to doodle on the edge of my card.

I am sharing my card with Craft stamper’s Take it, make it july challenge and Inspiration emporium‘s summer fun challenge.

Who knows Jackie… it came to my mind that Jules Verne was dreaming about a sea 20000 leagues under the sea, so nowadays people are planning vacations on the moon, why not under the sea, on a submarine… xoxo 😉
