Home sweet home’s by Laurent Chèhère

Laurent Chèhère is a Paris based French photgrapher. His new series of floating buildings and homes takes these once permanent structures and shoots them off into the sky like balloons full of helium. Inspired by the French film The Red Balloon (Le Ballon Rouge – 1956), these playful and whimsical photos are at once powerful surreal images and a masterful blend of analog photography and digital wizardry. Expo Flying houses is open till 4 Dec. at La Galerie Paris-Beijing, 54 rue du Vertbois, 75003 Paris (M° Arts et Métiers).
