The next speaker at Papier Hier was Akatre.
Akatre is an artistic studio, founded in 2007 by Valentin Abad, Julien Dhivert and Sebastien Riveron. Their goal is to experiment, to play with different graphic applications. They are busy with graphic design, typography, photography and video. Each project is a personal discovery of the possibilities and so it contributes to the development of the agency. They are always looking for an unexpected angle or a special proposition.
Akatre works especially for cultural institutions (art, music, fashion and media) from concept to implementation. Visual identities, installations and editorial designs.
They have designed the visual identity for Saint-Ouen, traverse d’arts in 2012. Their graphic work has been exhibited at the International Festival of the poster and the graphics or Chaumont (in 2010 and 2012), Paper Jam 2 (2012), Gallery Wanted Paris (2010).
The German publisher Gestalten has their work over the past five years combined in the publication Zero to Five (published october, 2012).
