Project “Punctum”

Project Punctum is a different way of interpretation of a photography, rather a part of a photography. The first step is to choose certain forms, to paint them, to paint their silhouette, to catch different textures from the original picture. So begins a dialogue between the photo and the actual art work.

For inspiration there is an exhibition open till 10th March in Fifty One Fine Art Photography Gallery (Zirkstr. 20, 2000 Antwerpen) the dialogue between the Japanese photographer Yamamoto Masao and the Belgian artist Arpaïs DuBois. They published a book with their works “Where they met”.
