Bookbinding, why not? All those great colorful papers with their different structures worth to put together. Japanese stitching is a perfect solution, and for me it was also something new to try out. Need to tell quiet satisfied with the result. The cover is a 2mm cartoon dressed in black bookbinder’s linen, inner cover is marble structure 120g paper. To make Japanese stitches all one needs to do is to punch holes at the side, of course in official terms you have also rules where, and the punching was made by a drill. There are several patterns to sew the side together, I choose the simple one. Here is the result, a new sketch book.
Book standing A5 size.

There are several tutorial videos on the net how to make Japanese binding, they all assure you it’s easy, but if you want to make it nice take your time, but go for it!
